Yuvraj Singh, who scored an unbeaten century yesterday, went onto pile up a double century. North Zone as a result are in the driver’s seat in the Duleep Trophy Semi Final at Hyderabad with Central Zone slipping to 146 for 5 chasing a tall first innings score of 451.

Yuvraj SinghResuming Day 2 at 346 for 4, North Zone were bowled out for 451 in 119.2 overs. Praveen Kumar and Murali Kartik cleaned up the North Zone batting line-up this morning to finish with four wickets each. Yuvraj Singh batted almost right till the end to come up with a smashing 208 from just 241 balls (with 33 fours and 3 sixes).

Central Zone are in trouble by the end of Day 2 at 146 for 5 in 58 overs. Skipper Mohammad Kaif is holding up fort for them with an unbeaten 34 (from 85 balls). For North, fast bowler Parvinder Awana took a couple of wickets.
